Why Hire a Charter Captain?
If you are interested in booking a charter with one of the vetted Charter Captains, we think you are making a great decision for a variety of different reasons. These reasons range from local knowledge of waters/fishery, local knowledge of laws and regulations, cost effective decision vs. owning a boat or towing your own boat, all equipment provided, fish cleaned and discarding of carcass legally, are just a few of the reasons!
Local Knowledge of the waters/fishery
Many of the captains listed here have decades of fishing experience on Lake Erie. They understand the unique ecosystem here at a deeper level then most. From seasonal migration patterns, to how water temps and clarity affect lure selection, to the best times of day or night to get on the bite. Let this deep knowledge base work for you and cut years off the learning curve or simply know that you are giving yourself the best chance of catching fish that day by being on their boat.

Cost Effective Solution
Owning your own boat, paying for gas plus the wear and tear you put on both the vehicle and the boat can make hiring a charter captain a cost effective solution. Plus the peace of mind of just having to show up and go fishing and not worrying about anything else is often times worth more than anything.
All Equipment Provided
Fish Cleaned and Discarding of Carcass Legally
